The main ingredient of basil pesto stirred into pasta or gnocchi, the easiest of calming suppers, but so much better if you make it yourself from fresh ingredients.
Sow: Indoors, all year round at 0.5cm depth, keep in a warm position. Can be planted out May-July. Outdoors, sow directly from late April to early July at a depth of 0.5cm in a sunny position.
Tip: Pick out the flowers to promote the growth of leaves.
