Carrot – Royal Chantenay 2 – Approx 2000 Seeds

Carrot Royal Chantenay 3 Seeds produce short, conical roots with a  wonderfully sweet flavour and crisp texture. Ideal for container crops of baby carrots that you can then use cooked in dishes or raw in salads.

Sow: March – June

Harvest: June – November

Sowing Instructions:

Sow thinly at a depth of 1.5cm into pre-watered soil (fine tilth), allowing 30cm between rows. Early sowings may need protection against frost, seedlings will appear between 14-28 days. Thin out to around 5cm apart when the first rough leaves appear. Keep well watered in dry conditions to avoid the carrots splitting.
