This is a pencil pod type which produces a large harvest of stringless beans.

Sow the seed indoors from mid-April ready to plant after the last frost. They germinate best at temperatures of 16 -25C. The seed can be sown in situ from May onwards, with ideal spacing of 25cm x 75cm. To get a good harvest keep the plants well watered and feed on a regular basis.
