Fennel – Sweet Florence

This is an old traditional variety. It is best used for later summer sowings when there is less risk of bolting. It has a fine flavour and the leaves can be used as a herb.

Sow direct in April to May, in the final location. Thin to 25cm apart. Ready for harvest in September.
