What to do next

Glasshouse seedlings should be pricked off into trays 5cm (2″) apart, gradually hardened off before planting out from May onwards. Plantings in a seedbed should be thinned to 5cm (2″) apart and transplanted in September or October 60cm (2ft) apart.
