Description
Lemon Balm is a hardy herbaceous perennial that grows to a height of 75 cm. Its lemon-scented leaves can be chopped into salads and white sauces for pork and poultry. Lemon balm flowers are particularly attractive to bees giving rise to its other name, bee balm.
Sow in seed trays in seed compost, and germination takes 2 to 3 weeks. It grows in any garden soil and will thrive in a dry situation.
